Oats have long been on the "forbidden foods" list for those with celiac disease because of cross-contact issues at the farm level. Wheat and oats have traditionally been rotation crops which is not ideal for preventing cross-contact. It's nearly impossible to keep wheat from cropping up with oats when grown as rotation crops. This happens all across the board in the farming industry. Usually, it's not a problem because most grains can be sorted using high-tech machines. Oats and wheat, however, are very similar in shape, size and color, making standard grain-cleaning practices almost ineffective. New technology has been introduced into the industry that can detect the subtle differences in the two grains, making it far easier to produce gluten free oats.
One of the key benefits to many oat products is their high concentration of fiber and protein. Oats are also high in beta-glucans, a kind of starch that is thought to stimulate the immune system and help reduce cholesterol levels.

Baked Pear Oatmeal Recipe
Step 1 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 9 x 9-inch baking dish and set aside.
Step 2 - In a small bowl, combine rolled oats, baking powder, salt, and spices. Set aside.
Step 3 - In a large bowl, whisk together water (or milk or juice), eggs, brown sugar, melted and cooled butter, and vanilla extract. Add oat mixture to the wet ingredients and mix to combine. Fold in chopped pears.
Step 4 - Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and bake until set, about 40-50 minutes. Let cool about 5 minutes before serving.

I repeatedly buy this coffee for both cold brew and French press purposes and it tastes amazing both ways!
I don’t normally write reviews, but what compelled me to write this one was a couple of things that need to shared with others.
I was turned onto this coffee by a good friend. To start, I love coffee and would easily consider myself a coffee snob, like so many others in this coffee centric world. I had my go to coffee brands, both local and exotic. Then one day, a friend suggested that I try Tesoros Del Pais distributed by TDP Specialties. The coffee was flavorful and had just the right panache to make me buy more than I would normally buy so I wouldn’t run out of a good thing anytime soon.
Where I thought the level of coffee was good, it was trumped by the level of service, communication, and attention to detail by the team at TDP Specialties. They showed me they cared about my selection of their imported product, made sure I knew I was ordering more than a human could consume in a year, and were professional and kind to deal with through the entire process. Shipping was incredibly fast and the product was safely packaged by their caring team.
I can’t say enough about this coffee and company. Go ahead and buy some Tesoro’s and begin to experience the finer things in life of flavor and service from a top notch company in a sea of internet product fulfillment companies. You won’t go wrong by following the advice of this review. With that said, I’m going to go and make a cup. Cheers.

This coffee tastes amazing and have a nice taste! I use it for my French press and my cold brew set up, definitely my new supplier for my organic coffee beans especially since they buy them and roast themselves.
Rarely do you find a company that not only backs their products, but provides excellent customer service as well. I’ve been searching for this particular Char Siu Sauce for a year now, since the only store that carried it in Anchorage ran out and didn’t restock. NOH makes the absolute best marinade I’ve ever had, and TDP is the only distributor that would attempt to send it here. Kudos to Eric for taking the time and effort to communicate on a human level and get the job done. I’ll be making the world’s best ribs again soon!
I roast my own beans and this is the first time I have purchased beans from El Salvador. The reviews that I read were right on target. Very smooth, rich taste with no bitterness. I usually go with dark roast but took the other reviewer's advise and went with medium roast. It did not disappoint. I also want to support El Salvador's economy any way I can.
Great coffee
I purchased this flour from TDP and everything about is was (and is) excellent. Firstly, the flour arrived quickly and well packaged. Using the flour (with long fermentation period) has greatly improved my pizza making. I highly recommend this product!
TDP Specialties is wonderful. They always have these muffins when I can't get them anywhere else.
As for the cinnamon roll muffins, they are the best. They are very easy to make and the taste is just right. It is not too sweet but gives me just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.
If you are looking to get any products from Kodiak Cakes, TDP is the place to get it from. They also have a lot of other good products on their website.
