Thank you so much for your consideration of our El Salvadorian beans! We are a new, smaller company and we got our start in the food importing business not in coffee, but in El Salvadorian hot sauce. The coffee business is new for us, and after searching for a while, we decided on this single estate farm in Ahuachapán, El Salvador. The owner of the farm is a great guy, and has been working the land for over 20 years. The El Salvadorian market for coffee used to be big, about 12 million quintals per year, and it collapsed over time as poverty and violence took over the country for years. El Salvador is on the rebound, and the country is rebuilding. I wanted to be a small part of that, and now these beans have made it to you. We have put a lot of work into this, and I hope you love them and will leave us a product review and let us know your honest thoughts.
We did our first roast at Jones Coffee in Pasadena, California, and I opened it up to their cupping experts. They decided on a light roast, and that was our first batch. They said that they thought because they are gourmet single estate beans with a unique flavor profile, roasting too dark would obscure the flavor. I have tasted it roasted medium and dark as well, and I agree with their initial assessment, but taste is of course a very individual thing and everyone likes different flavors. I also have a roaster here in the Las Vegas area who likes to blend them with some of his other variations to make unique flavor profiles, and I am always very interested to hear the preferences of different coffee fans to know what they think is the best.

This coffee tastes amazing and have a nice taste! I use it for my French press and my cold brew set up, definitely my new supplier for my organic coffee beans especially since they buy them and roast themselves.
Rarely do you find a company that not only backs their products, but provides excellent customer service as well. I’ve been searching for this particular Char Siu Sauce for a year now, since the only store that carried it in Anchorage ran out and didn’t restock. NOH makes the absolute best marinade I’ve ever had, and TDP is the only distributor that would attempt to send it here. Kudos to Eric for taking the time and effort to communicate on a human level and get the job done. I’ll be making the world’s best ribs again soon!
I roast my own beans and this is the first time I have purchased beans from El Salvador. The reviews that I read were right on target. Very smooth, rich taste with no bitterness. I usually go with dark roast but took the other reviewer's advise and went with medium roast. It did not disappoint. I also want to support El Salvador's economy any way I can.
Great coffee
I purchased this flour from TDP and everything about is was (and is) excellent. Firstly, the flour arrived quickly and well packaged. Using the flour (with long fermentation period) has greatly improved my pizza making. I highly recommend this product!
TDP Specialties is wonderful. They always have these muffins when I can't get them anywhere else.
As for the cinnamon roll muffins, they are the best. They are very easy to make and the taste is just right. It is not too sweet but gives me just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.
